(Update for 1.9) Alternative Movie page layout

Post by Andre » Sun Nov 02, 2008 6:18 am

Image

Would be adviseable to backup the original files first.

move query to
[Windows XP] C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\App Data\Movienizer\Scripts
[Windows Vista] C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Movienizer\Scripts

move GIF files to
C:\Programs Files\Movienizer\Pictures

Background color: line 269 (BGCOLOR=#E0E0F0)
Not alternative big icons: line 269 (width="70")

Edit: post in wrong place. It's a script but is not about 'support new sites'. Sorry.

Edit 2: Look for v 1.9 at the end of the page.

I've forget to say there are three others diferences in this query:
  • The home page shows the last 10 updated movies (instead the default 5);
    The movie page shows 15 actors instead of 10 (lines 448 and 449);
    The persons page shows first the played thumbs movies, the photos and then, the filmography.

Thank you very much for posting this Andre! :D I just tried it last night and I love it. If you do any more alternate scripts please post them as well. Thanks again.
May peace and joy be with you.

Thank you Zen1. It's always nice to hear some compliments.
I stoped trying new things after hear (read) from Vlad that the new version will be html pattern customizable. So... I'm waiting! :D

For Arial, please see this topic:
http://www.movienizer.com/forum/viewtop ... =177#p1165
Colors can be adjusted in just the same way, by adding necessary HTML tags to the resulting string, or by editing CSS.CSS in Movienizer's folder (Program files\Movienizer\Pictures). Some options, however, are not present in CSS.CSS
We will make this much easier in the next version of Movienizer.

Thank you again Andre for this layout. And thank you for so quickly posting the update for the new version. We use Movienizer on a 52" wide screen TV so your Large Icons are a huge help. The rest of the layout seems much more intuitive. Vlad should hire you. ;) . Thanks again.
