I'm not sure if I have a bug or if I can't figure out how to properly use the program. I have entered some movies that I want. In the general tab, I unchecked "In collection" & checked "Wanted". Now I have a few of these movies & I want to update the record to reflect that it is now in my collection, only I can't find it in the database. I've tried searching for the movie in the search box to no avail. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Did you try to use "Quick filter" - "Show wanted"?

I did that, and then I clicked on the "M" to filter by those titles and they didn't show up. I just did it again, but didn't try to filter further & there they were all the way on the bottom in with the other "M" titles. I thought if I was in a particular alphabetical section, I could filter further by "Wanted" & vice versa (filter the Wanted list). Sorry, my bad (as usual).

You can do this: just press "M" and then use the quick filter

Thanks! I was doing it backwards. One thing I did notice is that when I put in my Wanted movies, "In Collection" is automatically checked so that many (if not all) of those movies are marked "In Collection" AND "Wanted". Is there a useful reason for this or is it just a vagary of the program?
