We plan to release Movienizer 4.0 somewhere in December, 2010. Being a major upgrade, it will come with new powerful features and many improvements.

In this post we would like to provide some information about licensing. Currently a Movienizer license includes all minor upgrades. Sometimes these upgrades are necessary for getting the latest versions of scripts, which in turn is necessary to download correct and complete information about movies and persons.

With the coming major upgrade this changes a bit:
1. Existing users will be offered a significant discount for Movienizer 4.x.
2. Those who won't upgrade will continue to receive script updates for the latest 3.x version.
3. Every license for 3.x purchased on October 1, 2010 or later will be automatically upgraded to 4.x for free. So, every license that you purchase now is good for 4.x.

People that continue to participate in the project and help us (translators, moderators, script writers) will receive free upgrades, of course.
