Re: IMDB Nation (Nazione) and duration (Durata) and..... bug

Perhaps the error is caused by the database (restored from the backup) being version 5.6 and the Movienizer application being 5.4?

As for the unregistered version problem, that happened to me after a previous update and all I had to do to fix it was to input the registration code again.

Good luck.

Re: Imdb does not download information date of death

I've got the same problem since updating to Movienizer 6.3 Build 387 from 09/09/13. It was OK in 6.2 build 379. I'm using Modern interface version 93 and imdb scripts for movies (ver 147) and persons (English ver 60). Similar to problem that came up in version 6.1 Build 379. Problem fixed then by ma...

Re: Seperate Pages for TV Series Episodes

I agree that Movienizer is not as good dealing with TV series as it is with Movies but I don't know how this could be fixed without compromising an already very complex, multi-purpose application. Not sure I like the idea of separate pages for episodes but it would be wonderful to have a better syte...

Re: Great

Totally agree that this is the best movie database available for personal collections. There are some good MS Access based packages out there but they cannot compete on features and support. It's that support that really, really makes the difference to somebody like me with only limited programming ...

Re: Delete unneeded movie pics and persons

I'm not worried about the disc space needed for the various files in the Covers directory of Movienizer because it is pretty insignificant compared to that used for video files. My Covers directory is currently 3 Gb with nearly 20,000 files in 241 folders. This is the result of having 1,400 titles a...

Re: My List of Movies so far

I'm up to 1,400 titles (Movies and TV series) which is just those that I have in my collection and Movienizer is handling that just fine. By the time I get to including the "seen but don't own or want to own" titles, it will be well over 3000 and I can't see any reason for the program to have any pr...

Re: Movie Entries with same name have episodes overlapping

I had similar problems with these two TV series when I first downloaded them about a year ago. It was worse then because when downloading Sherlock Holmes http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086661 , I kept getting the data for Miyazaki's Sherlock Hound http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088109 . Problem seemed t...

Re: License question

The Lifetime Licence is definitely new. For the last few years (since ver 3) I have been paying the fee required to update to the latest major version under the terms of my Personal Licence. That's how I got versions 4, 5 and 6. I wasn't forced to pay and could have stopped and kept using whatever v...
